Astronomy

Located 26 miles from the Southern California coastline, miles from artificial light, White’s Landing is the perfect setting for an introduction to our night sky. Campers will have the opportunity to learn the basics of locating and identifying our skies seasonal constellations and be entertained with a story or two about the stars and their significance. All campers will have access to state of the art telescopes to navigate the skies on their own or follow along with their instructor as they assist with the operation our computer operated GPS navigated telescope.
