Tidepooling
The waterfront at White’s Landing is teeming with aquatic and terrestrial visitors. In addition to the grazing bison, soaring bald eagles, and occasional seals, the cove at White’s Landing offers incredible tidepools to explore. Located at each end of our beach is a unique habitat that accommodates thousands of different animals for us to observe. Our campers will have the opportunity to discover the many incredible adaptations these animals have to help them survive in one of the harshest environments on the planet! Tube feet, pointy legs, suction cups, stinging tentacles, cloning and limb regeneration are just a few of the alien like qualities these tidepool animals possess to aid in their survival.
