We found a new home for what is becoming a pretty extensive composting system. We generate compost from the vast amounts of food scraps (other than meat and dairy products). Jeremy Plummer, who has been with us since 2006, has made it his personal mission to make sure our system is balanced, productive and successful. Our main reason for composting is to reduce refuse expenses, but it has turned out to be something that makes great, nutrient rich soil for our landscape.
