Food and Beverage Manager
Food and Beverage Manager- Responsibilities include implementation and adjustment to 7-day camp menu, ordering system and retail sales and inventory. Also, the F&B Manager supervises 4 full-time and 3 part-time staff. General duties include lead cooking, staff scheduling, stores and merchandise inventory and ordering, menu planning, and general food and beverage logistics.

Kitchen Services
Work with a team in all preparations necessary to prepare and serve meals, clean and maintain dining hall, kitchen and food storage areas. Needs to be willing to perform other duties outside of primary job description as needed.

Lead Cook
The Lead Cook supervises day-to-day kitchen operations and follows an established production schedule. The successful candidate must have prior experience cooking for large groups in a fast paced goal-oriented environment. Flair and initiative are encouraged in preparation of meals. The Lead Cook must have certifications required by L.A. County Health code. Must be able and willing to learn complete tasks of Food and Beverage Manager and/or other duties outside of primary job description as needed.

Maintenance Staff
The maintenance staff at The Catalina Experience
is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all buildings and equipment. It is the responsibility of the Maintenance Staff to keep the facility safe, attractive, and in good condition. Duties include restroom and shower pavilion cleaning, tent turn-over cleaning, trash/dump runs, grounds keeping and minor repairs. Needs to be willing to perform duties outside of primary job description as needed.

Prep Cook
Assist in all preparations necessary to prepare and serve meals, clean and maintain dining hall, kitchen and food storage areas. Also included is dishwashing, composting, and trash management. Occasionally, a Prep Cook may be called upon to substitute for the Lead Cook. Must be willing to perform duties outside primary job description as needed.

Program Specialist
Specialists lead a small group of youth or adults on a variety of natural history tours on the island and on the water. Following an extensive training, the Program Specialist will be expected to be able to lead any of the many educational and recreational activities available through the Catalina Experience. In addition to a positive attitude and congenial manner, physical and intellectual ability to perform all functions is a must. Also, our Program Specialists must pass certification for first-aid, CPR and lifeguard (we will host the classes).

Repair and Maintenance Supervisor
The Repair and Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for keeping camp safe, clean and in good repair including vehicles, watercraft, buildings, tents and various equipment.

Retail Clerk
Duties include maintenance of retail shop inventory and manning the shop during established business hours. The Retail Clerk may be called upon to help with other food and beverage related services.
