Megan Cable,
Program Director Megan grew up in Southern California, at the beach and from the age of six knew she wanted to be involved with the ocean. After graduating from Hawaii Pacific University with a degree in Marine Biology
she worked in outdoor education was with the Orange County Department of Education in the San Bernardino Mountains. There she learned outdoor teaching techniques and how to work with large groups of young people. She took this knowledge and joined Eugene and Mimi at LBMI in 2001. Megan worked as an instructor and was quickly promoted to Program Director.
In late 2003 Megan left LBMI to pursue her dream of traveling. In a six-month trip that took her completely around the world she found a new passion. Upon her return to California she enrolled in Musicians Institute of Hollywood to study sound engineering. After working for a short time in the music and film industry she once again is feeling the pull of the ocean.
Megan is passionate about sharing her knowledge and love of the outdoors with those around her. She hopes to bring her backgrounds in marine biology and music and entertainment to the table and help make The Catalina Experience one of a kind.
