Upon first donning a mask & snorkel to take a peek into the underwater ocean world, Mimi was forever hooked! "The ocean is my second home...I'm surprised I wasn't born with gills." She really has a passion for bringing to life the undersea world and its inhabitants to people of all ages.

Mimi first began teaching outdoor sciences to middle school students at Hume Lake Christian Camp and then moved on to Long Beach Marine Institute as their Program Director in 1999. In order to expand her teaching abilities she took a position at the Aquarium of the Pacific in 2002 and now is ready to bring her knowledge and talents to the Catalina Experience.
