Volunteer Program Volunteering is a great way to get involved in The Catalina Experience™. Below you'll find a list of just a few ways to be apart of this exciting adventure. Please email us with any questions or comments. Camp Rehabilitation We are planning a very exciting and busy 2008 and we have much to do till we reopen in Spring. Several volunteer work weekends are scheduled, and we encourage you to come out, spend the weekend, enjoy meeting new friends and helping with a great cause. Volunteer work weekend schedule. Transportation, meals and lodging are available for approved work party volunteers. Projects include deck construction, painting, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, flooring, decorating, cleaning and cooking. Contact us for more information at volunteer@thecatalinaexperience.com or for a schedule of events. Counselors Counselors will be hired for the summer season. These individuals will be responsible for leading and guiding campers throughout their camp experience. You will be role models for our campers in personal language, appearance, and health habits. You must be at least 18 years of age and one year out of high school. – click here for a complete job description for Counselors Summer Camp Staff Our exciting summer youth camps run June 22nd to June 27th and June 28th to July 3rd. We need energetic volunteer camp staff to serve as camp counselors. Teens 18 and over are encouraged to apply. Qualified adults are also considered. There is always a need for energetic, fun and adventurous volunteers for a variety of projects and duties at The Catalina Experience™.
